Follow below steps to activate new news feed:
1. Login to your facebook account.
2. Go to facebook.com/about/newsfeed.
3. Click on the green button ”Join Waiting List” button at the top of the page / bottom of the page and you are Done.
Now you know what the button shows, “Added to the waiting list” and its says "you are on the list"...and now just "wait".
